If you are replacing existing fittings it is fairly straightforward to replace the Knob and Knocker, however the letterplate and multi point handle is a different matter. As your door has been cut to suit your existing plate, the chances of buying a replacement the exact same size are very small, so please take these measurements before purchasing.

1. The height and width of the aperture
2. The distance between the bolt holes.
3. The overall size.

For the multi point handle the key measurement required is the distance from the centre of the handle to the centre of the key hole. This information will help in minimising the possible alternations. Please note we do not recommend the use of lacquered brass fittings for external use, as all lacquers will in time fail.

The design and construction of the door will determine the size and positioning of the lock or latch, which in turn will determine the choice of the most appropriate furniture. The minimum sized lock or latch we recommend is 100mm. It’s very important that you consult with your contractor before making a decision.
